2. Use of Services

Our services are available to individuals and organizations seeking professional event planning and coordination in Davao City and surrounding areas. By engaging our services, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a legal guardian.
• All information you provide to us is accurate, complete, and current.
• You have the authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.
• You will use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Service engagements are formalized through a written agreement or contract. The scope, fees, and conditions of each engagement are detailed in the individual service contract provided to each client.

3. Bookings, Deposits, and Payments

To secure a date and confirm our services, a non-refundable booking deposit is required. The amount and schedule of payments will be outlined in your individual service contract. General payment terms include:

• A deposit is required upon signing of the service contract to reserve your event date.
• Payment schedules and installment arrangements are specified in each individual contract.
• Full payment must be completed by the agreed deadline prior to the event date.
• Accepted payment methods will be communicated during the booking process.

Dates are confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit. We reserve the right to release a tentative hold on a date if the deposit is not received within the agreed timeframe.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances can change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is as follows:

• Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or other agreed written communication.
• Booking deposits are non-refundable regardless of the cancellation date.
• Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be made at least 60 days prior to the original event date.
• Rescheduling fees may apply depending on the timing and nature of the change.
• Partial refunds for additional payments made beyond the deposit may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to the terms of the individual service contract.

5. User Conduct

When interacting with our website, social media, or our team, you agree to conduct yourself in a respectful and professional manner. You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or threaten our staff, team members, or other clients.
• Submit false or misleading information in any form or communication.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, databases, or communications.
• Use our website for any fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful purpose.
• Reproduce, distribute, or exploit our website content without prior written permission.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, photographs, graphics, logos, videos, and design elements—is the property of Events by Ms A or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of our content or website without express written permission from Events by Ms A.

Photographs and videos taken at events we coordinate remain subject to the intellectual property rights of the respective photographers and videographers. Usage rights for event media are governed by the individual agreements with those service providers.

Events by Ms A reserves the right to use photographs and videos from events we coordinate for marketing, portfolio, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing with the client.

7. Third-Party Vendors and Services

Events by Ms A may recommend or coordinate with third-party vendors including photographers, caterers, florists, venues, entertainers, and other service providers. While we work only with reputable professionals, we are not responsible for the independent actions, performance, or failures of third-party vendors.

Any agreements or contracts between you and third-party vendors are separate from your agreement with Events by Ms A. We encourage clients to review all vendor contracts carefully before signing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Events by Ms A shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• The use of or inability to use our services.
• Actions or failures of third-party vendors coordinated as part of your event.
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government orders, pandemics, or force majeure events.
• Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in information provided by the client.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Events by Ms A for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy. Any personal information you provide to us—including your name, contact details, and event information—will be used solely for the purpose of delivering our services and communicating with you about your engagement with us.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to coordinate your event (e.g., providing your contact details to a venue or vendor), or as required by law.

By engaging our services, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described above.

10. Amendments to These Terms

Events by Ms A reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Davao City, Philippines.
